FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FACIAL COSMETIC SURGERIES

What types of procedures are available?
Many procedures are now available to smooth skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles without surgery. One option is to inject wrinkle fillers, such as hyaluronic acid, better known under the brand names Juvederm and Restylane. These products are used to fill areas of the face that have sagged. These products are often combined with botulinum toxin injections (BOTOX or DYSPORT) to smooth expression wrinkles.

Other options include injections of CO2 (carboxytherapy), platelet-rich plasma (PRP), platelet growth factor, lactic acid (Sculptra) or deoxycholic acid (Belkyra) and CoolSculpting (a non-invasive cold liposculpture technique) to reduce under-chin fat. Finally, a stem cell injection makes it possible to truly rejuvenate skin.

What do these procedures involve?
Most of these procedures consist of injections that are performed in Dr. Coeugniet’s office and only take a few minutes.
Is a recovery period required?

That’s why dissolving stitches will be used to close the incisions.

Are there any criteria to be met?

Then, as the months go by, they will whiten and become less and less visible over the next 12 months. You can promote healing by applying vitamin E every day starting the fourth week after the procedure.
