This varies depending on the areas to be liposuction and the areas to be re-injected. Usually, the procedure does not exceed two hours.
Pain medication will be prescribed, along with a compression garment to wear over the areas of liposuction.
You can return to work 48 hours after the procedure, but you may have to wait up to two weeks if your job requires physical labor. Sports activities can be resumed gradually about one to two weeks later.
