PRP and PRF treatments use concentrated platelets from your blood to stimulate cell repair, collagen production, and follicle health.
As we age, we notice many changes in our bodies. Many obvious changes take place in our skin. PRP/PRF can be used to address fine lines and wrinkles, to add volume to targeted areas, it can be used to treat the area under the eyes, the nasolabial folds, as well as the forehead and jawline. It can also be used to rejuvenate the skin on the hands, neck, and décolleté.
The result? Natural, noticeable rejuvenation.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a non-surgical procedure that can be used to treat acne scars, surgical scars, hyperpigmentation issues, uneven and dull skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles. Plasma is a component of blood which is full of healing and growth factors.
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a second-generation platelet concentrate, derived from a patient's own blood, that uses a fibrin matrix to support platelets and growth factors, promoting tissue regeneration and accelerated healing.
PRF is a natural, autologous (derived from the patient's own body) blood concentrate that contains a high concentration of platelets, leukocytes (white blood cells), and growth factors, all embedded within a fibrin network.
A small blood sample is processed to separate and concentrate healing platelets. Applied to the treatment area, PRP/PRF enhances skin firmness, radiance, and can aid in hair growth.
During PRP/PRF treatment, a small blood sample is drawn, processed in a centrifuge to separate platelets and fibrin, and then the concentrated PRF/PRP is injected into the targeted area, potentially combined with microneedling, for skin rejuvenation or other applications.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) treatments can provide results that last from 6 to 12 months or even longer, with some individuals experiencing improvements for up to 18 months or more, depending on the individual's condition, age, and lifestyle.
PRF may last longer than PRP due to a higher concentration of growth factors and cytokines.
